So this week, I went to Disneyland for the first time ever! And of course, Disneyland was celebrating their 60th anniversary so everything was decorated in diamonds!
I ran into some of my favourites throughout the day on Main Street, U.S.A. and fell in love with their dapper Disneyland outfits.
Of course, we made sure to visit some famous attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but I was mainly excited to try the ones that don’t exist in WDW (my home park!) like the Matterhorn Bobsleds! (Which we may or may not have ridden at least three times…)
Since we went to the park as soon as it opened to the public (no Extra Magic Hours, unfortunately) there were literally no wait times for Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Splash Mountain! It was unreal to be able to walk directly on to the ride without waiting in the queue.
Next, we went back to Main Street to take a break, and landed in this cute little sitting area with my favourite snack. (PS: doesn’t food just taste better when its Mickey shaped?)
Eventually we made it over to Star Wars Launch Bay, where my brother had a chance to get some Jedi training!
This was probably the best part of the trip because I got to watch him experience the magic first hand.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to Disney without stopping in Adventureland to pick up some Dole Whip.
Overall, it was a really magical day and made me miss living 15 minutes away from a Disney park!
